Wes Cole Principal
Wes Cole has 10 years experience working as a consultant and advisor to early stage technology ventures as well as global IT and telecommunications firms. Prior to joining Gefinor Ventures, he served as Assistant Director of the Austin Technology Incubator, developing and deploying strategic business services to early stage technology ventures including Evity (acquired by BMC for $100m), Exterprise (acquired by Commerce One for $70m), and Speedgate, acquired by Mentor Graphics.

Mr. Cole began his professional career as a consultant in the IT and telecommunications industries in Moscow, Russia. He established the Moscow office and oversaw Russia operations for J'son & Partners, a Brussels-based management consulting firm specializing in converging communications. As senior consultant and director of the Moscow office, he provided market analysis, strategy, and business intelligence consulting for global telecom and IT companies.

Mr. Cole received his B.A. in Human Biology (with departmental honors) from Stanford University, and MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, where he received the Kozmetsky award for academic achievement.  Mr. Cole currently serves on the Board of Directors for UnWired Buyer.
